As a Signature Current Account customer you get access to our Signature Savings Account, which pays interest on your cash. To withdraw money, transfer funds to your linked Signature Current Account via internet, telephone or mobile banking.

What you get

  • Transfers to and from your Signature Current Account to help you gain interest, via our telephone, internet and mobile banking services
  • Offset your Signature Current Account and Signature Savings Accounts against a Clydesdale Bank Offset Mortgage - offsetting means you can use the money in your savings account to reduce the amount of interest you pay on your mortgage. Remember, no credit interest will be paid on account credit balances that are used for offsetting.
  • Interest calculated daily (paid on last business day of calendar quarter)
  • Summary of key information

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage

Signature Savings Account is available with Signature Current Account, You may only deposit or withdraw funds via your linked current account either in branch or using Clydesdale Bank/ Yorkshire Bank internet/telephone/mobile banking. No other deposits to or withdrawals from the Signature Savings Account are allowed. Applicants must be aged 18 or over, subject to status.

Your eligible deposits with Clydesdale Bank PLC are protected up to a total of £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme.

This limit is applied to the total of any deposits you have with the following: Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank and B. Any total deposits you hold above the limit between these brands are unlikely to be covered.
