Making changes to your account


Your personal details

If you need to make any changes to your name, address, telephone number (home or mobile) or email address, please visit your local branch or call our team on 0800 345 7365.


Overdrafts

If you have a Current Account Direct, Signature Current Account, Current Account Plus or Current Account Control, you can ask us to agree an overdraft arranged in advance. Subject to status, applicants must be aged 18 or over. Visit your local branch or call our team on 0800 345 7365.

Lost or stolen cards

In the event of your card being lost or stolen, or your PIN or other security information has been disclosed, call 0800 345 7365 (or +44 141 951 7320 if calling from abroad) immediately and report it. Alternatively, call into any Clydesdale Bank branch or write to us at Clydesdale Bank, PO Box 43, Glasgow, G1 2HL


Changing your account type

Closing your accounts

You can close your account and stop receiving any service completely by telling us. Please visit your local branch.


Dormant accounts

If you think you may have an old account with Clydesdale Bank that has not been used for some time, we can check these details for you and either reactivate the account or transfer the monies into another account you hold with us.

Please visit any of our branches, and bring details of the sorting code/account number, passbook and any statements you might have, along with ID such as a passport or driver's licence.
