Calculate your repayments

We’ve got two calculators to help you plan and set your budget for your mortgage.

1. How much can you borrow?

Simply enter some income details and we’ll give you an idea of the maximum loan we could offer you.

2. Mortgage calculator

Work out how much a Clydesdale Bank fixed rate mortgage would cost you each month. It shows:

  • Your monthly repayments for the fixed rate period – highlighted in green on the right
  • Your ‘SVR* payment’, which is how much you’ll pay when the fixed rate period ends

You can move the sliders to change the length of your mortgage and the SVR* payment, to see how this affects your monthly payments and how long it will take to pay off your mortgage. Keep an eye on the payments and mortgage term on the right hand side to see your options.

You require the Flash plug-in version 8 or higher to use the Mortgage Calculator.

You can download it from www.adobe.com

This information does not contain all of the details you need to choose a mortgage. Make sure that you read the separate key facts illustration before you make a decision.

Our mortgage calculator only gives you an indication of the likely cost of a fixed rate mortgage. The calculator doesn’t confirm if we’ll be able to offer the mortgage you want. If you would like to discuss your specific circumstances or obtain an illustration, please contact us.

If you choose an interest-only mortgage, you’ll need to make a separate arrangement to repay the outstanding amount at the end of the mortgage term. We haven’t included the cost of any savings plan in our calculation.

We’ve used the information you provided to estimate the maximum amount you can borrow. Before we make a mortgage offer, we’ll need some more information – this includes confirmation of your earnings, your credit status and the value and type of property you want to buy.

* SVR means Standard Variable Rate. When your deal ends, your loan will switch to the Standard Variable Rate, which at that time, could be higher or lower than the rate you will have been paying and may vary over the remaining term of your mortgage. The Clydesdale Bank Standard Variable Rate changes from time to time; the current rate is stated on the mortgage tables on this website.

YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE.
