Selected ATM's also have award-winning text-to-speech functionality, to help guide visually-impaired customers using them. Each key depression generates an audible tone, and there is a raised dot on the ‘5’ key to help you orientate yourself on the keypad. Customers who are genuinely unable to use or remember a Personal Identification Number (PIN) can request a chip and signature card instead which enables transactions in shops to be completed by the customer writing their signature.
