How to apply

Follow the instructions to apply for a term deposit

Online Application

  • Apply online or continue with a previous application
  • Send a cheque.  Make the cheque payable to the account applicant(s).  The pre-printed name on the cheque must include the name(s) on the Application Form.  If it is a joint application then separate cheques can be sent by each applicant.
  • Send the signed Application Form and cheque to:

Apply in branch

  • Apply online or continue with a previous application
  • Find your local Clydesdale Bank branch
  • Make the cheque payable to the account applicant(s).  The pre-printed name on the cheque must include the name(s) on the Application Form.  If it is a joint application then separate cheques can be sent by each applicant.

What happens next?

When we receive your signed application it will be processed as quickly as possible.

  • You will receive a certificate and covering letter confirming your new term deposit details within 10 working days upon receipt of your application
  • After your cheque has cleared the account will be opened
