Rent before you buy

In some Spanish developments, potential buyers are allowed to rent the property before they buy. This means you can try out the experience of having your own place, without committing yourself fully. Subject to availability.

Save when you decide to buy

Rental contracts are flexible and can be from 12 months up to seven years. The great news is that if you choose to buy within the first two years, all the rent you have paid will be taken off the purchase price.

  • Make an appointment – with the mortgage adviser at your local branch and let us know when you’re next visiting Spain. Mediterranean International Homes will contact you before you go to understand the kind of properties you’re interested in.
  • View properties – your English speaking Mediterranean rep will meet you at your hotel/accomodation when you arrive in Spain and show you areas, developments and properties to suit your taste and budget. If you’re interested in a property, Mediterranean will manage the purchase process for you from start to finish.
  • Arrange your finances – we'll provide you with information to help you choose the right mortgage, and will introduce you to CAM Bank who will open a Spanish bank account for you.
  • Buying your home – our experienced legal partners can provide full legal support throughout the purchase process.
  • Moving in – Mediterranean will take care of all the organisation and administration on moving day (such as picking up keys). They also provide an excellent after-care service to help you settle in.

In some locations, Mediterranean can offer complimentary apartments (subject to availability) that let you experience a couple of days on the development before you buy.
