We can only offer you a personal loan if you meet these requirements:

You must be either a new customer, aged 23-74 with a minimum annual income of £15,000, or an existing customer of the bank.
You have a permanent UK address
You have a good credit history
You have a UK bank account
You have a debit and/or credit card*

* As an extra measure to help identify you correctly, and to protect you against fraud and identity theft, we will require details of one of your credit cards or debit cards (American Express or Diners Club cannot currently be used for this purpose). We will make a charge of 1p to this account to validate it. The charge will be refunded to your account. Your card details will not be used for any other purpose and will not be stored as part of your application

Your current employer's details
(if applicable)
Your bank details
Details of your regular monthly income after tax, your monthly mortgage payments and other debts
Your debit and/or credit card details (excluding American Express or Diners Club)
Allow about 15 - 20 minutes to complete your application
