You can transfer money between your own accounts and to other people (like friends and family) via the 'Funds transfer' facility.
(Payment of everyday bills, like utilities, credit cards, the government, charities, etc is done through the 'Bill payments' facility).
First, select 'Funds transfer' from the 'Payments menu'
Before you make a transfer, you need to have set up the beneficiary (payee). You do this by selecting 'My payee list' from the left-hand menu. You can also set up a new payee whilst making a Funds transfer, you then have the option of saving the payee.
If you've already got payees set up, they'll be listed here.
If you want to set up a new payee, simply click the 'Add payee' button at the top right hand side of the screen, and fill in the payee's name and account details.
Click on 'New funds transfer' on the left-hand menu, then:
Select the account you want to transfer the money from.
Then enter the amount, reference (e.g. statement reference or payment description), remitter name (e.g. your name) and the date you want the transfer to happen on.
Click the Next button
Check that your instructions are correct, and confirm the transfer by clicking the 'Submit' button. You have to enter your Internet Banking password unless the transfer is to one of your linked accounts.
