    Just use your card anywhere you see the MasterCard or Maestro Acceptance Mark – depending upon your own card type.

    Using your Clydesdale Bank Debit Card at an ATM*
    • You can withdraw up to £500 a day from an ATM using your Debit MasterCard. The limit for Maestro Cards is £350*^
    • Services at Yorkshire Bank and Clydesdale Bank ATMs including mobile phone top-up and balance enquiries and mini statements
    • Change your PIN to a number which is easily remembered by yourself.

  • It’s really important to keep your card safe and your PIN confidential. To keep you card safe, follow these simple rules:

    • Never write your PIN on your card or anything you keep near your card
    • Never allow anyone else to use your card
    • Never write your PIN down without disguising it
    • Never disclose your PIN to anyone, including Bank staff
    • Never leave your card in an unattended vehicle
    • Make sure you’re not being watched when entering your PIN
  • Make online shopping even more secure

    It’s easy to shop with your debit card and it’s even easier to do it online. But when you come to making a purchase, you want to know it’s safe. That’s why we provide SecureCode™ – the secure online shopping service. Upon registration and creation of a personal password (referred to as SecureCode), every time you make an online purchase at participating retailers you will be automatically prompted to enter your password/SecureCode.

    Registering with SecureCode™ will help guard you from unauthorised use of your debit card while shopping online. So it’s nice to know you’re protected every time you buy.

    What should I do if I've lost my card?

    In the event that your card is lost or stolen, or your PIN or other security information has been disclosed, call 08447 36 26 16(or +44 141 951 7320if calling from abroad) immediately and report it. Alternatively, call in person at any Clydesdale Bank branch or write to us at Clydesdale Bank, PO Box 43, Glasgow G1 2HL.

    I’ve received my new card, can I use my existing PIN?

    Yes, your existing Personal Identification Number (PIN) will continue, unless the letter with your card advises otherwise.

    What if I’m already registered with SecureCode™?

    You will not need to re-register any replacement cards unless you report your card as lost or stolen.

    I’ve received a new card, do I need to change my regular payments?

    There’s no need to make any changes to Direct Debits and standing orders on your account, and any card-based payments will only be affected if your card number has been changed. Any retailer who has registered your old card number, for regular or future payments, will need to be advised of your new card details.

    How will I know which card has completed the transactions on my bank statement?

    The last 2 digits of your card number will appear on your statement.
