5th September 2014

Yorkshire Bank has strengthened its support for new and existing corporate banking customers in the North East with the appointment of a new associate director in its Business & Private Banking Centre in Newcastle.

Daryl Peart joins from Barclays where he held the position of relationship support manager.

Daryl worked for Barclays for nearly a decade, with the last four years focused on corporate customers, managing a portfolio of 20 customers.

Ian Stephenson, corporate banking director for Yorkshire Bank in the North East, said:

“The addition of Daryl to our team reinforces our commitment to support growing corporates in the North East. Market conditions are improving and many businesses are taking advantage of increased confidence and activity to invest and ready themselves for a period of consistent growth.”
