Clydesdale Bank funds Pollok Park development

30/01/07

Senate is to launch the first phase of a new £15m residential development of luxury flats bordering Pollok Park in Glasgow.

Funded by Clydesdale Bank's Glasgow Financial Solutions Centre (FSC), work will commence on the 'Green Park ' site, off Haggs Road , early next month.

A high-specification development of 116 apartments spread over 7.5 acres, Green Park will offer a range of two bedroom homes with prices starting at £190,000. Building work on the site will be phased over the next two years with the first phase of flats due to be ready for release by June of this year. A second release will take place in March 2008.

Once complete the development will comprise five blocks of apartments, designed to blend sympathetically with the nearby park environment and constructed in an innovative and modern style.

Keith Jones, a director of Senate Property Developments, comments: "Green Park is a high-quality development which will further enhance the local property market - offering homebuyers the chance to acquire a stunning apartment in a unique parklands setting".

Neil Berry, business partner at the Glasgow FSC, adds: "We are delighted that Senate Properties chose the Clydesdale Bank to finance this exciting project. We are sure it will be the first of many successful partnerships between the bank and the developer."
