Executive profile: Steve Reid
Retail Director
Steve joined the Group in 2003 working initially as Head of Personal Financial Services for Clydesdale Bank before becoming responsible for the combined Retail operations of both Yorkshire Bank and Clydesdale Bank brands in December 2004. His role has subsequently extended to include Direct Banking (contact centres and internet banking) as well as responsibility for Products & Marketing.
Prior to joining the Group, Steve spent almost 18 years with the Woolwich and Barclays. Having joined as a management trainee he moved on to hold senior roles in both the Retail Banking and Wealth Management businesses. He was also heavily involved in the integration programme following the acquisition of the Woolwich by Barclays.
