The Forum acts like an extension to your team, providing support in key areas, such as:
- HR – guidance and support on almost all aspects of HR, from pre-recruitment to retirement, plus customisable templates for use in your own business
- Business development – advice and support to help you grow your business with marketing guidance, franchising advice, networking events and more
- Purchasing – savings across your business expenditure, from telecoms and utilities to office supplies and fuel
- Finance – support and advice on a range of matters, including credit control, debt recovery and property cost controls.

At Clydesdale Bank we’re committed to helping our Small Business customers. We offer up to two years’ free business banking for start-ups* or 18 months’ free banking for established businesses switching to us from another provider. What’s more, as a Small Business customer, you can benefit from free use of meeting rooms**, networking events and dedicated support from your Business Manager.
Supporting our business customers
* New Small Business Banking customers only with a turnover of less than £1m. Small business switching their main business current account or Start Ups opening first account within 12 months of trading. Borrowing requirements between £0 - £250,000 . Cash limit of £250,000 per annum. Free day-to-day banking means that “Service Charge” will not apply during your free banking period. At the end of this period, you will automatically move to the Standard Business Tariff. Charges for “Additional Services” and “Borrowing Charges” are not part of the free banking offer. No interest is paid on credit balances. We will review each business on a case by case basis to ensure they meet the qualifying criteria.
