Why consider Invoice Discounting?

When looking for sources of finance for a business, Confidential Invoice Discounting is an attractive option. It offers a flexible solution for companies who want to strengthen their cash flow by releasing cash tied up in unpaid invoices, typically one of the biggest untapped assets in business, without having to give up control of customer relationships or credit control processes. By accessing the value in your invoices before you receive payment from your customers you can shorten the payment cycle, helping your business keep its finances moving. It will also help to maintain operating cash flow through fluctuating trading cycles whilst waiting for payment from customers with longer payment terms or those who pay late.

Who is it for?

Invoice Discounting is well suited to most companies that trade on credit, have overheads, are currently growing, have plans to expand, or are restructuring to position themselves for growth. By releasing your working capital at a time when you need it most it allows you to focus on growing your business and making it a success.

Why choose us?

We can lend up to the full value of your receivables immediately* whereas normally you may only get up to 90% within 24 hours. That is reason enough to get in touch, but there are other advantages in a facility from Clydesdale Bank.

You will have full control of your facility through access to Invoice Finance Direct. This is a secure interactive portal that allows you to manage your facility. It’s a fast effective, confidential service providing you with full control for uploading invoices, viewing balances, drawing funds and notifying receipts. Log in.

We’re upfront about our business friendly terms and have clear and transparent competitive pricing. You’ll also have dedicated support from an Invoice Finance specialist who will also work with other specialists from across the bank to deliver tailored solutions, support and advice.

We offer an optional Credit Protection service which safeguards against bad debtors (fees apply). This can mean the difference between profit and loss for your own business and protects your cash flow against someone else’s financial failure.

We offer a full range of other banking solutions, including asset finance, merchant services, trade finance and treasury services, all designed to help you manage your working capital needs, whatever they might be. Ask how we can help.
