How we are currently supporting our Agribusiness Members
LOCAL SEMINARS
As part of our ongoing commitment to helping businesses succeed, we have held a number of seminars and events aimed at the business sector across the UK. These often are led by key industry speakers and are designed to equip business owners and managers with knowledge on issues from the economic climate to cash management.
CONNECTING FOR GROWTH PROGRAMME
The Connecting for Growth programme, run in association with the University of Glasgow Business School and Leeds University Business School, is a unique and valuable learning experience designed for our business banking members.
The programme delivers cutting edge thinking from top academics, and combines facilitated learning and experience-sharing workshops. It offers our invited guests the chance to get away from the day-to-day pressure of working ’in’ their business and deepen their knowledge of change management, strategy, marketing and decision-making.

DELIVERING ORGANISATIONAL PERFORMANCE SEMINAR SERIES
Clydesdale Bank, in partnership with the University of Glasgow Business School and supported by Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, have commenced a second series of evening discussion forums entitled “Delivering Organisational Performance” as part of our commitment to meaningful engagement with the business and policy communities in Scotland.
These popular guest speaker events feature key decision-makers and innovators from Scottish business and government. The quality of these events, and the popular discussion panel format, attract an audience that spans various sectors, drawing together policy-makers, senior corporate executives, SME owner-managers and other key opinion-formers from across Scotland.
The series has already received exposure in Scottish Business Insider magazine and the Glasgow Evening Times.
